About ScryIndex

ScryIndex is a passion project built to make it easier for Australian Magic: The Gathering players to find real prices without spending half the night jumping between store tabs.

One of the big frustrations behind it was how messy local price discovery had become. Australian players were left with a patchwork of store sites, inconsistent search quality, and very little visibility into what was actually the best deal at any given moment.

TCGplayer no longer directly served Australia in the way many local players had relied on, and that gap made the problem even more obvious. I wanted a better local alternative that was focused on Australian stores, Australian pricing, and the kind of buying decisions local players actually make.

The goal is simple: help players, collectors, and deal-hunters compare real singles and sealed prices, spot value quickly, and make smarter purchasing decisions with less guesswork.

ScryIndex is still growing. Retailer coverage, search quality, scraper reliability, and page experience are all being improved in public as the project develops. The focus is to keep it useful, honest, and practical rather than dressing it up with noise.
